What’s happening with the bus routes to Latvia?

The Republic of Latvia has announced the termination of extensions of international passenger transport licenses for Belarusian and Latvian carriers. The border remains open.
Cancellations are happening gradually, depending on the validity period of each individual carrier’s license. As of 01.02, the Riga-Vitebsk-Riga route of the carrier SIA "Dautrans" has been canceled, and starting from 26.02, services to and from Riga will be discontinued for our partner Branch "Bus Depot No. 5" of State Enterprise "Minsktrans" on routes via Vilnius and directly to Latvia.
The direct Gomel-Riga-Gomel route operated by LLC Latlines and Branch "Bus Depot No. 1" of OJSC "Gomeloblavtotrans" remains in operation until summer for now. The schedule is below.
LLC Latlines:
Gomel-Riga 15:40—Mon, Wed, Sat;
Riga-Gomel 12:00—Tue, Thu, Sun.
Branch "Bus Depot No. 1" of OJSC "Gomeloblavtotrans":
Gomel-Riga 15:40—Tue, Thu, Sun;
Riga-Gomel 16:00—Fri, 17:00—Mon, Wed.
And how to get there from Minsk now?
There are no direct flights, but INFOBUS.BY offers alternative travel options with a transfer in Vilnius*.
A single ticket for both legs can be purchased in one order.
*IMPORTANT: these are unscheduled / independent transfer routes. Please take into account the current border situation for the transfer.
There are also flights from Poland to Riga. For example, direct Warsaw-Riga routes operated by Lux Express. You can reach Poland daily from Minsk and other cities in Belarus.
